Forever an animal lover and, for many years, a newspaper reporter, magazine editor and freelance writer, I’ve always been a “gifted” human communicator.

Three decades into my career, however, I stumbled upon the knowledge that we all have the innate ability to connect with animals at a much deeper & richer level than most of us ever do. Furthermore, I realized that intuitive work like animal communication isn’t restricted to “special psychic people” or the “chosen ones.” Learning that telepathy is a skill set that can be taught to “normal folk” was an absolute game-changer, life-changer and career-changer for me.

Obsessed with the idea, I pursued the goal of becoming an “interspecies communicator” with the single-mindedness of a “dog with a bone,” and fortunately, there are a surprising number of reputable & accomplished pet psychics & animal communication teachers offering immersive animal communication education programs – and I’ve studied with many and most of the “Best.”

In addition to an extensive education with the Danielle MacKinnon School of Animal Communication, I explored the intuitive development & AC methodologies of other renowned teachers and schools – among them, Joan Ranquet’s Communication With All Life University, Val Heart’s The Heart School of Animal Communication (learnhowtotalktoanimals.com), and James French’s The Trust Technique. My passionate exploration of anything and everything related to this field also included additional classes and educational offerings from teachers and authors like Amelia Kinkade (languageofmiracles.com), Debbie McGillivray (animaltelepathy.com) and Carol Gurney (The Carol Gurney Institute of Animal Communication) as well as Pea Horseley, Marta Williams and Penelope Smith (animaltalk.net).

It is so intriguing, rewarding & MAGICAL to catch the feelings, pictures and thoughtforms animals are constantly transmitting to us, and then convey those to their human caretakers.  And it’s a privilege to be an “ambassador” and a “voice” for animals whose human companions are enlightened enough to want to hear their thoughts & feelings – and the messages they have to share.

P.S.  My fascination with animal communication also spawned an interest in the gentle energy healing modality of Reiki and how it can benefit animals as well as humans, which led to MORE learning.
Today,  I’m a Usui Reiki Master-Teacher specializing in distance Reiki for animals, having completed Advanced Animal Reiki coursework (and Level 3 certification) with renowned animal communicator Nancy Windheart, who is also a Reiki Master-Teacher as well as creator/founder of the Animal Communication Academy.
